About WOCN
WOCN is not an organization, but rather a movement of like-minded women committed to challenging the barriers which negatively impact women, their families and communities.
We do not believe in duplicating efforts that work, as such, we work with community organizations and individuals to support the work they are doing that aligns with the mission and values of WOCN. Our support has ranged from volunteerism to advocacy, mentoring, and financial support.
WOCN does not solicit grant funding nor seek public donations. Our bi-annual Fannie Lou Hamer Legacy Luncheon is our primary fundraiser. Other financial support comes from membership dues of $30.00 per year as member contributions.

Our Mission
The mission of Women of Color Nebraska Caucus is to empower women and girls to reach their full potential and work to alleviate conditions and barriers which interfere with their success.
